Take Time to Connect with Nature!

Welcome!

It has been quite awhile since my last update. Since then, many things have changed around us and tumultuous times continue. But some things haven’t changed. Life is enriched by nature and art of all kinds.

The mountains are one of the many places that I go to for inspiration. During 2024, experiencing early autumn snow and the annual change of the larches followed by Lake Louise at Christmas with family were fulfilling means to absorb the energy of the natural world. Over the years, dramatic changes in the glaciers of the Rocky Mountains have become evident, transitions of deep personal interest and concern. I feel very fortunate that I was able to hold a show of my work entitled “Day of the Glacier” at the Willock & Sax Gallery in Banff in the spring of 2025. This exhibition focused on the glaciers of this region and coincided with the United Nations recognition of 2025 as the International Year of Glaciers’ Preservation.
